CAP-F

The FlexIR CAP-F Series for isophase bus systems is a large format combination infrared, visual and ultraviolet inspection window specifically designed for the power generation and large power user market. The bolted window design also acts as an access port for repairs as it can be easily removed to allow the technician access to repair the fault. Once refitted, the isophase system can be re-energized and the repaired joint can be inspected to confirm that the repair was  effective.

CAP-F Series Infrared and Visual Inspection Windows for Curved Surfaces

  • Versatile & Durable

The CAP-F is designed for custom applications and dimensions that will vary according to the your requirements.

  • Fixed and Stable Transmission (FAST)

The CAP-F Series are specifically designed to allow essential infrared, ultraviolet and visual inspections of these critical assets to be completed whilst the energized system remains enclosed and in a safe condition ensuring workers are never exposed to the dangers of arc flash or electrocution.

  • Poly-View System Technology

The exclusive industrial-grade, reinforced Poly-View System™ polymer allows any theromographic camera to monitor completely undisturbed assets inside electrical equipment.

Our Strong Points Ipad
  • Unparalleled Field of View

The larger rectangular viewing area provides an unparalleled field of view (FOV) when compared to traditional round IR windows.

  • Protected by our Unconditional Lifetime Warranty

Unconditional lifetime warranty applies not only to the workmanship of the window housing but also applies to the durability and stability of the optic in the proposed environment.

Tested and Certified to The Highest Industry Standards

IRISS IR windows are the most certified windows in the industry with IEEE (impact & load), UL, cUL, Lloyds and CSA C22.2 14-13 for industrial control equipment Check out this product certifications!

  • UL 50V

UL 50V applies to infrared windows and is more of a classification than a standard that applies for performance-of-build characteristics.

  • Lloyd’s of London

Lloyd’s provides independent, third-party approval certificates attesting to a product’s conformity with specific standards or specifications. It verifies the manufacturer’s production quality systems through a combination of design reviews and type testing.

  • UL 50E

UL 50E standard applies to enclosures for electrical equipment intended to be installed and used in non-hazardous locations.

  • IEEE C37 20.2a.3.6

The IEEE C37 20.2 Section 3.6 is the impact and load requirement for all viewing panes installed on medium and high voltage switchgear. Panes made from crystal of glass will not pass these requirements.

  • UL 1558

Requirement covers metal-enclosed, low-voltage power circuit breaker switchgear assemblies containing but not limited to low-voltage power circuit breakers, switches, control, instrumentation and metering, protective and regulating equipment.

  • IP67/NEMA 6

These equivalent ratings certify enclosures for indoor or outdoor use. They protect against access to hazardous parts, ingress of foreign objects and water from rain, sleet, snow, splashing or hose directed water & ice formation damage.
